Create and manage subcontractor attributes

Admins and Librarians can create custom subcontractor attributes for use with the local subcontractor database or to map data from external subcontractor databases.

Subcontractor attributes can be used to sort subcontractors on the Subcontractors tab and to calculate project statistics. For example, one of the most common uses of the Statistics feature is tracking progress toward meeting MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) requirements for a project. Learn more about using subcontractor attributes in Statistics to meet project requirements.

Creating subcontractor attributes is similar to creating custom project attributes. However, you do not need to create attributes for contact information. The subcontractor form includes fields for contact names, email addresses, and phone numbers by default.

Only Admins or Librarians can add, update, or remove subcontractor attributes.
