Copying an existing project

If you want to create a new project that is identical to an existing project, including the subcontractors and their respective bids, you copy the existing project on the BidMatrix Projects page.

To make a complete copy of an existing project:

1. On the Projects page, select the project you want to copy.

   A project information panel appears to the right of the Projects page, with the Summary tab displayed.

2. At the bottom of the project Summary tab, select the Copy button.

   Alternatively, on the Project page, select the ellipsis icon on the tile for the project you want to copy, and then select Copy.

3. At the message asking if you're sure you want to copy the project, select Yes.

   When the copy process is complete, BidMatrix adds the new project to the Projects page. The new project uses the same name as the project you copied, appending " - Copy" to the name.

4. Change the name of the new project to something more meaningful.
