About the project Bid Room

The bid room is a collaborative environment where an estimating team can manage a collection of bid packages. It enables estimators to contribute to the same project simultaneously, updating a bid in real time.

You enter a project's Bid Room from the BidMatrix project page. If you are viewing your projects using the Tile View, you select the Enter Bid Room option on the project thumbnail. If you are viewing your projects in Table View, select the Enter Bid Room icon at the beginning of the project row in the table.

When you enter the Bid Room, you are taken to the Bid Room Summary Sheet. The Bid Room Summary Sheet provides an overview of a project’s bid packages. The Summary Sheet allows collaborative estimation and displays other users’ locations within the project.
