Exporting an “as bid” estimate to Trimble® WinEst®

BidMatrix includes an option to create a new Trimble® WinEst® “as bid” estimate from BidMatrix.

Before creating a Trimble WinEst estimate from BidMatrix:

• The BidMatrix Skybridge application must be installed and be active. (For information about Skybridge, see Installing Skybridge.)

• The BidMatrix estimate you plan to use to create a new Trimble® WinEst® estimate must have been created by importing a Trimble WinEst estimate into BidMatrix.

To create a new Trimble WinEst estimate from BidMatrix:

• On the Summary Sheet toolbar, select Closeout.

After the Closeout is complete, a new Trimble WinEst estimate is created with the same name as the project name used in BidMatrix.

The new Trimble WinEst estimate includes the original Trimble WinEst estimate items, but the pricing and totals for those items reflect the pricing, totals, and selected subcontractors from BidMatrix.

Self-perform items (that is, items associated with phases have no assigned subcontractors in BidMatrix) reflect the original category costs that were part of the original Sage estimate.
