Install Skybridge

Skybridge is an application that allows Sage Estimating (cloud), formerly Sage BidMatrix, to communicate with Sage Estimating or Trimble® WinEst®.

You use Skybridge to do the following:

  • Import Sage Estimating named.est files into Sage Estimating (cloud).

  • Create new Sage Estimating estimates from Sage Estimating (cloud).

  • Import Trimble® WinEst® named.est files into Sage Estimating (cloud).

  • Create new Trimble® WinEst® estimates from Sage Estimating (cloud).

The Skybridge icon (Skybridge icon) appears in the upper-right corner of every page:

  • A green icon indicates that Skybridge is installed, up to date, and active.

  • A gray icon indicates that Skybridge is not installed or that an update is required.

If Sage Estimating is installed on a network, you might need assistance from Sage Customer Support to install Skybridge.

  1. Select the gray Skybridge icon.

    The Skybridge .EXE file is downloaded to your local drive.

  2. Locate and open the file.

  3. Select Install to install the software.

  4. Select Finish.

  5. Enter your Sage Estimating (cloud), formerly Sage BidMatrix, Email address and Password to log in.

When installation is complete and you log in successfully, the Skybridge icon turns green, indicating that Skybridge is active.
