Setting the bid insight as the actual bid

Sage BidMatrix provides suggested bid amounts for bid package phases, which are calculated using subcontractor historical bids from similar projects. These values can be normalized to account for market fluctuations, regional cost differences, and other factors, using standard or custom cost indexes.

To set the suggested bid as the actual bid:

Select the cell next to the desired bid package phase under the corresponding subcontractor and select the Use Insight option under the Bid Insights graph.
