Manage bidding participation

  1. Go to the Project page and select Bidding from the left-side navigation panel.

  2. Do the following as needed:

    1. To update the bidding participation for an alternate, bid package, or phase, do the following as needed:

      • To break out a cost category from a phase budget, select the breakout icon ( ) at the alternate, bid package, or phase level.

      • To include a bid as part of subcontractor, select the bid included as part of subcontractor icon ( ) next to the alternate, bid package, or phase level.

      • To self-perform a cost category from a phase budget, select the self-perform icon ( ) next to the alternate, bid package, or phase.

      Changes made at the alternate level apply to all bid package and phase levels beneath it, while changes at the bid package level apply to all underlying phases.

    2. To reverse or reapply changes made on the Bidding page, select the undo () or redo () icon respectively from the toolbar.

    3. To expand or collapse all levels, or one level at a time, use the expand or collapse actions from the toolbar.

  3. To apply changes from the Bidding page to the estimate, do the following:

    1. Select Apply to Estimate.

    2. In the dialog, select Yes to confirm your action.

      Some existing bidding information might be removed based on the changes.
